Chiasmus

Chiasmus refers to a figure of speech in which words/phrases are sequenced in the reverse order, i.e., it denotes inverted parallelism.

         ·          Winners never quit; quitters never win.
         ·         “Men do not quit playing because they grow old;
           they grow old because they quit playing.” (Oliver Wendell Holmes)
         ·         Control your anger before your anger controls you.
