Teachers of English should encourage students to read extra books than their syllabus or text books. The habit to read during the leisure or reading for pleasure should be encouraged. If there is no such facility, for one reason or the other, the class library may be tried with 150-200 interesting books of stories, games, jokes, general knowledge etc. The class teacher or the teacher for English can take this job, of making students interested in reading as a hobby.
